Dear Families,
I am honored to welcome you to the Collet Park Website. Our site is connected to the Manzano Cluster Family Site, so information will be posted at the same time on each site. The community of Collet Park wanted this, so it is now a reality thanks to one of our parents, Mr. Todd Giles. The goal of this site is to provide information, schedules and dates about your school to our families and community. We will continue to send out paper (hard copy) flyers and reminders for the immediate future. However, in order to be environmentally responsible, our long term goal will be to have most of our correspondence sent to you electronically. By using less paper, the school will also save money in the long run. I do not foresee ever getting rid of paper correspondence completely, but a reduction will take place more and more each year. If any families do not have access to a computer, you are welcome to use our library as long as you inform the school in advance.
I am available pretty much at all times. My open door policy is simple; if my office door is open, you are welcome to come in (even without an appointment). If my door is closed, it is because I am with a parent, staff member or off campus at a meeting. I speak Spanish, German and am currently learning Arabic, if you need assistance in these languages.
